ABOUT Prateek
My journey in the visual arts began long before I became a professional Cinematographer. Growing up, I found that expressing my thoughts, creativity, and imagination through art was the perfect outlet. I realized I had an eye for beauty and a mind full of stories to tell. What started as a passion for photography and sketching eventually led me to buy my first camera and enroll in Shari Academy, where I learned the craft of commercial photography and visual storytelling.
In 2014, I got my first big break in filmmaking, and I instantly fell in love with the process. Since then, I’ve committed myself to a career as a Cinematographer. I enjoy experimenting with new ideas and techniques, constantly working to improve my skills. I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of projects, from fiction and commercials to travel shows.
I’m currently based in Mumbai, India, but I’m always open to traveling, meeting new people, and joining exciting productions. As they say, “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and I’m proud to share some of my work here on this site.
